Abram is a man who is rough around the edges. He could easily clean up if he wanted too but he doesn't exactly see the point. He doesn't have a set home to speak for and his work is messy and no one expects him to clean up and dress up. Work is work and life if life and Abram likes to be comfortable. Jeans and a ratty shirt is his normal clothing choice but he has a few shirts with cut out sleevs and he does on occasion just go shirtless, really it is hot and if he can get by doing his job with no shirt on he will. It's hot sweaty work.
To go with his already grungy attire Abram doesn't keep himself clean shaven and almost always looks like he has dirt on his face which just might be true. His hands are rough and calloused from his hard work and a bit blackened from work. It would take a great deal of scrubbing to make them truly clean.
Of course with hard work comes hard muscles. Abram is no waif he is rather built not quite carrying a six pack but close, most of his mass is found in his arms, shoulder and back from all the heavy lifting and moving. He is a bit of a broad man and can be fairly intimidating at times, particularly when coupled with his height of 6' 2".
He has piercing green eyes and a strong voice that can carry. He has an air of command about him with the way he walks, and talks and moves. He is very confident in what he does.
Abram is something of a quiet man in some respects, he doesn't exactly share much of himself. He can be social and nice when he wants to be but you won't get much out of him pertaining to his personal life beyond that he's worked a few places around the west and hasn't really stayed in one place too long he goes where the work is.
As a sports fan, Abram can be found visiting a bar of some sort. He doesn't seem to have any particular teams he just likes to watch the sport and drink a beer. He has a casual and inexpensive way of life not keeping much on himself and riding around on a bike. His way of life very well matches his work, he gets it where and how he can.
In order to get work he can talk people into letting him fix their vehicle for a fair price. He has a charismatic way about him, and can convince many people and get them to agree to his way of things.
With all the traveling Abram does get tired. It's why he doesn't seem to do much with his life but work, drink, watch sports, and sleep. He can be seen taking walks to little knows where but most don't pay that much mind he is a rather independent being. Yet moving around is a way of life and he accepts it, never giving it much thought any more from having done it for so long. Not to mention he finds that it keeps him from having to compete in life he comes in does and leaves. He does like some of the freedoms his life offers because it keeps him in control despite how rough his life is.
Additionally Abram does have a bit of a temper that can go off from time to time, when it does he will burst out shouting and generally just resist form hitting that which angered him. After the initial outburst Abram cloaks himself with a deadly calm either stating what his beef is or excusing himself from the situation.
Not much is known about Abram's history. He never share's much, he was born in Oklahoma, so he says, and was quickly moved to a small town in Arizona (due to cost of living), as a young child, where he grew up into a teen. There wasn't much to his childhood and early teen years he scraped by in school never having a mind for academics or a desire to sit still long enough. School was torture, he'd rather be out on a bike or having fun like a normal kid. He did try to do those things rather than attend school but it never worked. He was caught in various ways, such as the teachers, overly concerned citizens and even once the police (one of the many downsides to living in a small town). In the end skipping wasn't quite worth it, being bored and suffering a detention or two was easier. His parents didn't care much so why should he? They were busy with their own lives working nights and sleeping days, home after the bus picked him up and gone before home from school.
It was during those formative teenage years though, that he got into some trouble which included alcohol and Abram's life was then changed forever sparking him to run from home. He lived a rough life homeless and poor moving from place to place getting what he could however he could. It wasn't until he met a man who took him in and trained him in some basic life skills such as laundry, frying an egg, and how to work a car or bike, something he found that he did like to do. The man was fairly old and died when Abram was in his early 20's, that was when he started traveling much like he is at present taking the old man's bike with him (he is the one man he morns no longer having in his life and thus never mentions him). He's been to Nevada, California, Utah, Arizona, the Dakota's and even once went to Washington to Abram they are all pretty much the same a place where he lived and worked for a time met some people, some who in a way join him in his travels others whom he leaves behind. Having traveled as much as he has no place exactly stands out from the other, save Washington where it is too green and wet. Where he will go from Colorado is unknown to him, maybe Montana?
He has met up with his fair share of women as well along the way, but has never gotten close to any one really, he hasn't really gotten close to any one person, including those that were in his family. The company of strangers is just fine for Abram, even if some of those strangers wind up being a friend whom he spends some amount of time with. There are a few who seem to be constant companions of sorts people he's know for a time and will spend time with. These people seem to look up to him some quite possibly because he's the oldest. They don't all move at the same time all the time, some wind up ahead of the others and some straggle behind there no real exact science to it all, each moves for their own reasons separate from his own but he takes it all in stride. Even if he may not be close or act close to them he knows they are there when he does need a person he can trust and he has had some intimate relations with a few of the females but nothing long lasting or dramatic between any one. His life is come and go and it's how he treats those around him, in a come and go manner, it makes things easier for him.
Your Name:Carrie
Age: Almost 25
How Did you Find us: I'm officially unofficial
A little bit about you: What more do you guys want? I now have a job I like, I'm a bit of a nutter. I'm thinking about going back to school to get a masters, yes I'm crazy I know.Honestly even if Roxie turned him down Marshal was having fun. It was odd but to Marshal almost any time around or with Roxie was fun for him. He just held a certain fondness for the woman without there being really too much romantically involved. Marshal happened to like his women and liked them in a variety of flavors. Some girls that he had found himself with unfortunately became a 'snack' while others he had a good time out with and they were allowed to see the next day of their lives not having known that they had spend the previous evening with a vampire.
When Roxanne remarked on how he seemed actually concerned he simply nodded his head to indicate that that was certain and it couldn't be any other way. He knew words weren't necessary with Roxie and he almost felt that words would ruin the moment he could tell that she was contemplative and might not actually argue which would be a miracle in some rights but being the age that Marshal found himself to be and liked to forget seeing as it made him think and feel old rather than being much like the 20 something he appeared to be, he had seen plenty of miracles and thus many of them lost some of their luster.
Of course Marshal chuckled when Roxie brought up dancing and his mind raced with the memories of that night. Those were the days, there were some things in this time that were nice and enjoyable and almost to be spoken for. Such as his Droid which was so much more than a phone it was almost hard to believe he liked having such thing as his Droid provided at his finger tips but at the same time he would gladly turn it in for some of the simple glories that were found in the 20's and 40's and 50's. Even some of the 60's and 70's were superb even if there were some odd things to them. "I remember that well. Didn't think it had left as quite an impression on you as it apparently has. Those were the days. Do you remember the old bootleggers way back?" Marshal laughed most of the bootlegging happened before he was a vampire and while he was still rather young but still even after prohibition there were a few still running around to avoid taxation and other things.
"Now the question is do you want the same dancing as back at the USO or would be okay with something a little more modern as long as it's dancing, because we might be hard pressed to find a place to play some of the old classics, though you know I'm never opposed to them." Marshal did have an appreciation for music his tastes were wide including what was popular in the past to what was popular at the time, it was just sometimes hard to remember what was already old and what wasn't. He had made the mistake of mentioning Usher's Yeah forgetting that was more of a 90's song rather than a current hit. It wasn't too terrible of a blunder considering that the artist was still current and the song was still considered good.
Having been threatened about running off with some bimbo Marshal put on a hurt and shocked face. "When was the last time I did that to you?" he asked, "Though I will remind you that when ever it was I have a particularly good reason. If I recall she smelled particularly good, and blood was getting fairly stale around here."
