Shopping! // Dianthe, Open

Ze'Posh was the destination today for Henry. It was a little past noon and he had told a friend that he planned on meeting her there, so she could do some shopping while he gave her advice and whatnot on the clothes and things. Henry didn't plan on buying anything himself though, he was just here for his friend, Dianthe. They often did things like this, going shopping together or getting a cup of coffee or something. In his mind, Henry thought that they were good friends. While she was an Elemental and himself a Lycan, they still connected, despite his somewhat aggressive nature. It was quite possibly that certain, specific nature that got them together, so-to-speak. Dianthe always looked after Henry, as she was definitely the brainier of the two, since he liked to find trouble every now and then. One of his faults, obviously. Henry contemplated their relationship on his way to the store.

The clothing store, of which he walked too, was probably one of the only ones within the small town of Mercy, Colorado. Because of that reason, among others, it was a good business and the owner probably slept in a bed of cash. The tourists supposedly just ate this place up, as they thought a lot of the stuff they bought here were one-of-a-kind items that they were getting for great deals. Henry himself had spent a lot of money at this place quite a few times, but today wasn't going to be one of those times. While he was moderately wealthy because of his job as a nurse, he didn't like to spurge all of his money away. That's probably one of the only smart things he's ever done. He wasn't totally greedy or selfish at all, so sometimes he's even helped a few people out for cash if they were tight on it. Despite his wishes not to buy anything today, he did bring some money just too spot Dianthe if she needed it.

Today, Henry was wearing some casual clothes. While Ze'Posh was quite an exquisite store, Henry didn't feel the need to dress-up unless it was a party or otherwise necessary. So instead of wearing something fancy he was just wearing a plain t-shirt and some jeans. Just something you'd throw on on a lazy day, though this wasn't exactly going to be a lazy day. Henry enjoyed helping Dianthe, and other friends, with their shopping, but sometimes it could get tiring or irritating. Occasionally he would snap back at them, but it was never intentional, just the wolf in him getting angry. Henry had always had problems with his anger, and he was known to be quite aggressive a lot of the time. But this was too be expected, considering how young he was by Lycan standards. While fourty-four would be about middle-aged for most Humans, Henry was only considered a pup by the other members of the pack.

It was just another day, well, not really. Plans had been made today, with a friend, shopping to be precise. Dianthe needed some more items to replace old and worn out items in her wardrobe. She could have easily have gone by herself or even work in a few of the aged clothing hanging up in the attic but she wanted something just for her and Henry would help her find that. The man was like the brother she always wanted but then re-thought when she saw they way some of the other teens in class hated theirs but the big thing was Henry didn’t live in the same house so, it played out nicely. Sure, they where opposites in a lot of ways, like she was brains and controlled and her was fun and sometimes lost himself. The biggest thing was that she was an elemental and he was a lycan but that only made things better in Dia’s mind. They could talk about anything, literately, if he was a normal human she would have to avoid a lot of subjects and maybe even him, that plus age never mattered.

Dianthe walked down the side walk, steps light and graceful, face emotionless and hands stuffed in her jean pockets. She wasn’t wearing anything special today,she just didn’t she the point when she was about to change into about 20 different outfits. She wore a light blue graphic tee, what people called a boyfriend cardigan in gray, a pair of regular blue flare jeans and some cute gray flats with a simple buckle on top. Easy for a quick change. Dia made her way up to Ze’Posh, one of the most talked of stores this city had but that wasn’t hard when it had very little competition.

She pushed open the door and glanced around well she made her way into the shop. Clutter with clothing, that was obvious but a smile broke out on her face when she spotted Henry. The smile was a rare site to anyone that wasn’t her friend and even might have scared a few people. “Thank you for coming. I wouldn’t have looked forward to this if it wasn’t for you.” Dianthe said, her voice hold sincerity as she made her way over to where he stood.

Henry had decided to enter the store although he wasn't planning on purchasing anything. He would wait inside for her instead and maybe browse. The store was rather moderately sized, but they seemed to be able to fit a lot of clothes into it while still making it navigable and comforting. The owners did quite well with this place. Nothing really seemed to be wrong, and business was always booming. It made Henry slightly curious as to who even owned it really, though he wasn't sure why he felt like that. Being considered a pup was probably the reason actually, as a lot of young creatures were always curious and such. Henry felt kind of weird thinking about all of this from his point of view, so he started to look around the store a little bit more. He already saw a few things he would like to buy, but he had to keep reminding himself that he wasn't here to purchase anything for himself.

Luckily, Henry was interrupted from these conflicting thoughts when he heard someone speak, and he turned to see Dianthe with a smile. Henry smiled back, tilting his head slightly at the comment she had made. "Hey Di," he hugged her quickly but softly. Henry wasn't quite sure why he did this, maybe it was the wolf in him, a lot of the pack members hugged each other like that. Dianthe was pretty much family to him almost, so he felt it was appropriate. Hopefully she wouldn't be too mad, and when he thought about that he kind of pulled away awkwardly. "Err, how are you?" Henry rubbed his stubble lightly, crossing one arm over his chest to support the other. "And don't worry about it. I'm always willing to go shopping with you," he grinned broadly, in a kind of childish and pup-way. It faded naturally as he turned his head slightly to look around the store.

Now that she was here, the shopping could begin. Since she was the one doing that, Henry waited for her to move so he could follow her lead. This wasn't the first time he had shopped with Dianthe, let alone any other female friend, but it did get kind of funny whenever they were trying on something revealing like underwear and bathing suits. Henry was definitely interested in men, which was the reason why so many of his women friends brought him along, because they knew he wouldn't make a move but he would still give a guy's perspective on how they would like or not like certain outfits. Sure, it was a little stereotypical, but Henry himself wasn't deep down. Despite all of that, Henry could play along still, and enjoy it at the same time. "So, where do you want to start? Bathing suits, dresses, jeans?" he turned to look back at her with a curious expression.
