Dia has long, flowing medium golden brown hair and pale jade green eyes that glow with confidence. She isn't a very vain person but that doesn't mean she won't take proper care of herself. Her appearance means a lot to her and she uses self-brewed lotions and hair-products only. She likes to keep her skin flawlessly clear and soft. Hygiene is very important in her books.
She would be considered a petite girl standing at five two and only weighing around one hundred pounds. She dress well, usually matching one color with black or white depending on the day. She also likes to wear different little accessories to add onto her outfit for the day.
Dianthe will always hold head up high and would easily stare her fear straight on without backing down, a mask that she well. Her steps seem to hold confidence with a graceful sway of her hips as she moves. Something she learned from observing her grandmother but unlike her grandmother her body-language is the way she wears her heart on her sleeve. Small things like a spring in her step, a small curve of her mouth or even a quick or slight motion.
For someone so young, Dianthe holds a lot of maturity and knowledge. It comes from years of reading and learning but mostly it comes from her grandmother that tries to teach her everything she knows. Even as a child, Dia loved to learn about anything but her interest was held more by history and family magic. Even though she could hide herself away with a good book for days that didn't stop her from socialize with people.
Dia can be quite friendly after awhile and she relaxes. She feels that she can read a person well enough to know when she is safe. Dianthe doesn't scare easily but when she does get frighten she gets very tense but she won't back down and tries not to willingly bend to anyone's demands. Anger is another thing, she tries to bury it until it dies but usually it burst. Dia can move pass a lot of things but when her anger gets triggered she flies into a rage along with her magic. It's best to be careful about what is said in her presence.
Dianthe is annoyed at the fact she is so young. She doesn't like how a lot of people won't take her seriously but mostly she is annoyed at herself. She needs to finds something to do with her life now that she is out of high school but the big question is what. Dia is close with her element, more so then others her age, she loves to make potions and history also makes her happy but it is hard to chose one when she hasn't even sampled what else is out in this world.
Dianthe was born on May 1st to Kristen and Blake Delacroix. She has one older brother but they don't care much for each other, actually her brother, Oilver, doesn't care for the family and wishes he wasn't an elemental. He left them about two weeks after his high school graduation. That would have been around the time Dia was eleven. Her grandmother kept say her would live them, it never did affect her much because of how much Oliver dislike her because she was so eager to learn.
Other then her brother abandoning them, Dia lived a normal childhood. She went to school like all the others and devoted herself to books. Her parents where around but not as much as her grandmother. Her grandma took care of her and taught her about what it was to hold an element before she found her. Her parents where to busy trying to control Oliver and his rebellious ways, after he left they seemed to be depressed. They acted like they had never had another child for a while, before gripping on to like a life line. Her parents became the type of over-baring parents that you wouldn't be surprise to find them around the corner. spying.
Around the age of thirteen they finally calmed down, knowing that Dianthe was happily accepting her element. It was hard to find a 'wand' that would work with her but after a bit of looking around she found it, well, she didn't exactly find it, Diana Ambrose, the owner of 'The Crypt' an antique store, helped her find it. Dia channels her magic through an old silver athame with a beautiful celtic knot patten all along the hilt and a bit on the sheath that came with it. It has been her best aid when she makes her potions or decides to cast a spell or manipulate water.
A year or two her mother was murdered. It was a full moon, for no reason a wolf jumped out at her and her mother as they made their way back from the corner store. Dianthe saw heard the rustle in the bushes and had pulled her athame but her mother didn't have the time to react like she did. Hoping she could still help her mother she pulled a bottle of water out of the dropped bag and opened it, she should have just ran because the thing had finished her mother off and was staring straight at her expectantly, mockingly. Rage hit her, she wasn't sure what she had done but as soon as it leaped at her it was down, a column of ice in his throat. She didn't think much of it, just ran.
Dia seemed to have gotten over it, going back to hang around her favorite places, the Crypt and Kippling Books, within a few months.
Your Name: Jessica
Age: In my teens...
How Did you Find us: Your ad on Caution~
A little bit about you: Hmm, what can I say? Well, first off, call me Jessi. I am a High School Student, I have been roleplaying for about a year and half now. I love to make graphics in my spare time even though I am a newb at it. I can be a heavy reader at times, I love my books, I am currently reading White is for Magic, I like a good vampire/witch/anycreature book except for Twilight. Sparkling vampires got old the moment the first movie came out to me. Anyways, my random spew ends now.Blair was curled up in front of the fire in the Slytherin common room just reading over what they would be talking about in Transfiguration class tomorrow. The area was quiet because most of her peers where asleep or has already sneaked off with tonight’s fling so, what was she doing sitting around? Simple. Blair was waiting for ten o’clock to come around in order to go meet with her brother, Caden. He had sent a letter requesting to meet later that night and she had wrote back accepting, as well as setting the time and place for around ten out on the lawn. She wasn’t to sure why her wanted to meet other then he said he had something for her but she was happy to oblige anyways.
Blair pulled her wand out and casted a quick tempus charm, it was nine fifty four, she had about six minutes to exit the castle for her meeting. She slid her wand back into the holster hidden on herself and stood up. She pulled on her hoodie before she gracefully headed out of the common room and quietly down the hallway, her heels not making a sound against the stone. Something she had perfected over the years just in case it was ever needed and sooner or later it would be, like once a week.
The courtyard could be seen from the windowless frames that lined the outer hallway. A sharp breeze blew across, making the grass flow with it and the trees shiver, it was a cold summers night with winds coming down on them from the north. It also shows that Fall would be coming a little to soon for Blair’s liking and was glad that she had grabbed a sweater. At this point in the walk, Blair was taking her time. Her hands where shoved in her hoodie pockets, no longer was she trying to hide the sound of her footsteps and she was taking in the smells of nature that surrounded her. It had been a long time since she had just stopped to smell the roses or go for a walk.
Blair came up on the landmark she had requested in her reply, the wild flowers that where on the school lawns in one isolated spot. She paused right before the flower started before walking out into the middle and sitting down to wait for her brother. She sighed happily as she let go and feel back into the flowers letting them surround her.
