EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT! Newspapers are an important part of everyday life in Mercy and this is where you should visit to see the latest in headlines, sports and human interest!

One of the fanciest hotels in Mercy, the antiqued gold and white-washed building is seven stories high with a glass paned, domed restaurant and bar at the top, giving the hotel it's name.

The most residential of all the streets of Mercy, it winds for quite some time before it turns into anything else. The yards are trim and neat looking and the houses, though not huge, are cozy enough for a medium sized family.

The second most residental street of Mercy, the houses here are larger and most are rented out to tourists who don't want to stay in a hotel. The yards are smaller here because the houses are bigger.

A small nook in Mercy where the smallest houses are located. Despite that however the residents are well mannered and the most friendly. Their yards might not be the best looking but it's worth taking a look around, the artsy people love living here.

The most expensive neighborhood in Mercy, large houses, large yards and large money lives here. There are no houses for rent or sale here as they are all owned by residents of the town. Some rather large families live here so watch your step.

Popular nightclub that brings the locals and tourists out in droves. Filled with good music, good alcohol and interesting people, there are private rooms for VIPS and a large dance floor surrounded by booths for everyone else.

Named by someone with a sense of humor, this bakery has been around for years. Run by a plump old witch and her son who's family helps her out, Flour's will keep turning out goodies for years to come.

Owned by a very eccentric vampire, Mushroom's is the place to work or hang out if you are part of the young set. Selling the new to the incredibly old there is always some classic blaring on the internal speakers.

Everyone needs to get their hair and nails done and this salon is the place to come! They don't do walk-ins which ticks off the tourists but they do so wel with the locals they don't care. Sofia was the founder fifty years ago and now her daughter runs it.

Filled with vintage and locally made clothing, Ze'Posh, is well...posh. Usually if you see someone wearing something you just can't live without, they got if from this funky shop. It's a hit with the tourists too who think they are getting a one of a kind item.

Owned by Diana Ambrose, The Crypt is a large, multi-level antique shop in the heart of town. Filled with old and ancient things, it seems like a lot of history stored in one place and often times, those of weak constitutions don't even make it to the back of the store.

Books, books, books everywhere, stacked from the floor to ceiling with nary a space between. How the stacks don't fall over is a miracle to tourists, magic to the locals. Multi-leveled, it shares a wall with The Crypt and some books wind up next door if the price is right.

Established to sell small souvenirs, shirts, and the occasional locally made art piece, The Curio Cabinet is certainly a tourist trap. Run by a dedicated staff (to the money not the tourists) they stock knick knacks and shoot the breeze with the locals.

Even the supernatural like to see the latest blockbusters. This small five theater building will also sometimes host film festivals for those hard core movie lovers.

A place for local artists to show off their work and sell it to the tourists if they are lucky, the Apollo is known for holding art viewing parties, classes for all levels of talent and the occasional benefit.

The best tea & coffee shop in town! Owned by a young lycan trying to make her way in the world, this is the place to come for a lovely atmosphere for a good conversation or to just sit back and read. They host coffee making contests and poetry readings on occasion.

This local library, though small, satisfies the needs of the townsfolk and snoopy tourists if they want to poke around the old shelves. Away in the back however is a locked door that can only be entered with a special key. This room contains records of the town and the truth about it's inhabitants. Naturally it's also protected by several spells and booby traps to keep out unwanted visitors

The local herb shop that has also supplemented it's inventory with regular house plants. The shop sells ingrediants for spells and for a good roast. Everything for the general public is harmles, but only very special customers know where the dangerous things are.

This is the shop that sells crystals, spell books, cauldrons, dried animal parts and all manner of other things needed to make a spell work properly. They often have combined specials with Rosemary & Thyme to promote business.

A large expanse of greenery that allows for a large playground, two soccer fields and a meandering path that takes one through a small wood where bird watching can be done.

This large imposing structure keeps perfect time for the whole town. No one is supposed to be allowed up here, but there is a door that can be easily manipulated if you are more than human and many people enjoy the view from top.

Certainly a long name but this is the best soda fountain in town and some even believe it's haunted by the ghost of a certain celebrity who liked to show up now and again!

Tourists might need a place to wind down a bit after their exhausting trip, so Good Mourning is just the bar to visit. Owned by Caleb Rousseau, it caters to the unsuspecting humans during the day and transforms into a blood bar during the night. Tsk, tsk, don't stay out late after bedtime, m'dears. It's dangerous.

Stark and rather uninviting looking in the summer, though capped with scrubby trees, it's the winter where this majestic mountain becomes a fantastic ski run that draws even more tourists than in the summer.

Also known as the "Merciless Mine" this abandoned shaft was the death of many a man and bird with cave ins, gas leaks and the random explosion. Mediums hate coming here for the sheer fact that they get mobbed, and no one is allowed here after dark.

A very old, very large forest that seems to stretch on forever and end in the middle of nowhere as well. The tall, scraggly trees have been known to inspire all sorts of artists and architects which is where the name came from and stuck over the years.

A large lake that's used for swimming, boating, fishing and all around fun. There's a legend attached to this lake about a demon living in the bottom, if it's true or not no one knows, not even the locals
